Knit Jeep refers to a kind of Hat which is named after the character Cpl. Walter Eugene 'Radar' O'Reilly (played by Gary Burghoff) from TV series M*A*S*H. This knit Hat with a short brim has been a staple for knit wearers since the 1960"s. With slightly more attitude than the Beanie, the brim can be worn to the side or in reverse.
