Location is a term used in photography/modelling industry referring to a place other than a studio. Location shooting is done by a Model and a photographer (if it is photo shooting) o r a director and crew (for video/commercial shooting) anywhere other than the studio.
If it is a photo shooting for bikini or bathing suits, usually the "location" outside of the studio is the beach or swimming pool.
