Band collar refers to a ytpe of Collar that stand up straight and encircles the neck,, to be buttoned in the front.. Band collars originally served as the point of attachment for remov able collars, but now provide a causal twist to the dress shirt. It is a nNarrow strip cut on a straight grain or bias grain of fabric that is used frequently on men's shirts and ladies' blouses.
