Gala Loewe refers to a women's floral -oriented fragrance brought out by Loewe in 1992. Gala Loewe was designed to evoke a feeling of fiesta. Mandarin, rosewood, basil and cassis in t he top notes introduce jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose and iris in the heart, with base notes of tonka, castoreum, sandalwood and musk. The design on the blue and gold bottle and cap was inspired by the dress worn by the Infanta in the famous painting by Velaquez called Las Meninas.
