Oscar refers to the first Perfume designed by Oscar De La Renta Perfume House. It is one of the best fragrances created by Top Perfume houses. Oscar was created by Jean-Louis Sieuzac and was launched in 1977. This is a classic, floral, slightly sharp perfume of aromatic notes of lavender, rosemary and carnation, with sweet, powdery, musky base notes. The top notes include orange blossom, basil, coriander, galbanum, peach and gardenia. The heart of this composition encompasses ylang-ylang, jasmine, tuberose, rose, rosemary, cyclamen, lavender and orchid. The base includes opoponax, carnation, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, lavender and amber.

The perfume won the FiFi Award in 1978.

The Oscar bottle was designed by Serge Mansau.
