Gio refers to an award-winning Floral fuity Perfume brought out by Giorgio Armani in 1992. Gio is the essence of "Armani Woman” characterized as tender, inncoent and unpredictable. Gi o is the short version of Giorgio, the nickname given to Giorgio Armani by his friends. Gio perfume was made for the the younger clientele of Giorgio Armani's fragrances.
Fracoise Caron of Givaudan-Roure was the nose behind this fragrance. Top notes are tangerine, peach and rosewood. At its heart , white flowers, gardenia and tuberose, lend their feminine character. The base is composed of vanilla, sandalwood and amber.
Gio bottle follows the shape of an Armani jacket.
