Rah-Rah Skirt refers to short, tiered, and often colorful skirt;; fashionable in the early-mid 1980's .

Rah-Rah Skirt short full skirt usually layered or with rows of frills which was originally
a style of flounced, short skirt worn by cheerleaders whose most usual part of cheer is "rah-rah".

Rah-Rah Skirts made from soft, tiered ruffles would make a fabulous summer get-up. There are loads of styles and colours everywhere, and versions in flouncy mini and even just above-the-knee are also available.

I think, I am seeing a lot of ladies now wearing Rah-Rah Skirts in Germany paired with leggings and Converse shoes, especially made from denim.
