Trumpet Skirt refers to a type of skirt that is fitted at the hips and thighs then flares out from the knees.

If Trumpet style is used for gowns, as in a wedding gown, it may or m ay not have a train. It can be tricky to kneel or sit in this style.

Trumpet Skirt is also known as Mermaid Skirt.
