Agal refers to a fillet of two (2) or three (3) cords that is used to fasten the Keffiyeh worn on the head.. Agal is a band of decorative material, rolled into a cord and used to se cure the traditional Arab headdress called "Keffiyeh". The Agal is normally black. It also consist of a scarf wound around the head and held in place by its own fringes tucked into the roll.
Agal is pronounced "ah gaul"
