A Cossack also known as Cossack Cap or Cossack Hat refers to a cap adapted from the cap worn by Russian Cossacks. It is often made with fur or felt. Cossack Hat is wider at the Top than at the head size.

It is a style in the 1980's made up in Persian lamb and fur fabric for women. A winter hat for men worn at an angle with a center identation.

Russian Cossacks are members of a people of southern European Russia and adjacent parts of Asia, noted as cavalrymen especially during Czarist times.
