Clog refers to a closed toe, Open Back footwear style with a platform sole, traditionally made of wood. Similar to that of The Netherlands or Dutch clogs known as Klompen.
Clog is a style of shoe which was originally carved from wood, is now made from a wide range of materials and continues to inspire numerous hybrid fashion designs. Clog is generally included in the Mule shoe category, a slip on style of shoe.
