French Sleeve refers to a long or short sleeve cut in one
with body of garment. French Sleeve is derived form Japanese kimono; sometimes a separate section
called a Gusset is added at underarm

French Sleeve is the same as a kimono sleeve in Europe and the United States, but in Japan, French Sleeve indicates a slightly longer sleeve.

French Sleeve is also called Chinese Sleeve Or Kimono Sleeve.
