- Jerkin (Jacket) : Jerkin refers to a type of jacket; an outer doublet, vest made from hide and the sleeves from rich cloth.

A jerkin is a man's short close-fitting jacket, made usually of light-colored lea ther, and without sleeves, worn over the doublet during the 16th and 17th centuries.
