Satchel refers to a rectangular carry-on bag, generally larger in size, with a wide, flat bottom, zippered or clasped top, with two (2) handles or straps to be held or on the arm rat her than over the shoulder. The Satchel is usually made of leather or cloth It was inspired by the shape and utility of luggage and comes in a wide variety of sizes such as the doctor's bag.
