Stomacher refers to large triangular shaped pin worn by women on the front of the bodice. It was secured by the bust Line and usually extended below the waistline. Some were created i n interlocking sections, which could be worn together or individually. Moreover, Stomacher refers to a trimmed or jeweled panel in the shape of inverted triangle, superimposed on front of bodice.
