Tap Pant refers to a kind of pant with a slightly gathered and elasticized waistband with short, loose-fitting legs. Tap Pants are often teamed up with a Cami Top for a comfortable, flattering lounge set or pajama. Tap Pant is named after the pants that is used to wear by the female tap dancers way back in the 1930's and 40's.
