Moreover, Chikan Kari refers to a white embroidery, pr edominantly floral patterns, executed on fine white cotton with untwisted threads of white cotton or silk. Several techniques in Chikan Kari are known however in the city of Lucknow in India - a famous center of fine workmanship.
