KCD refers to the fashion's prominent public relations and event production firm/company which was founded in 1984 and run by Ed Filipowski and Julie Mannion. KCD is a full-service fa shion PR (public relations) firm based out of New York and Paris representing some fashion designers, like Versace, Anna Sui, Richard Tyler and Byblos, as well as Victoria's Secret and Robert Clergerie Shoes. Other KCD client list are high-end fashion houses including Gucci, Anna Sui, Alexander McQueen, and Marc Jacobs. KCD also produces fashion shows and special events such as Seventh on Sale. In 2008, events from KCD included Gucci's Unicef/Raising Malawi fund-raiser at the United Nations, Calvin Klein's 40th anniversary event at the Highline, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards at the New York Public Library.
