Kebaya refers to a light loose tunic of a type worn in Malaysia and Indonesia by both sexes. Likewise, Kebaya refers to a short tight-fitting long-sleeved jacket, together with a sar ong, the traditional dress of Malay and Indonesian women.

A Kebaya is sometimes made from sheer material and usually worn with a Sarong, Batik, or other traditional knitted garment such as a Songket with a colorful motif.
