Chypre refers to a fragrance category/family based on a woody, mossy and flowery notes, sometimes with aspects of leather or fruits. Chypre perfumes are rich and tenacious, they oft en contains oakmoss, sandalwood, patchouli bergamot and vetiver.

In perfumery, the Chypre olfactive group was named after perfume Coty Chypre created in 1917. Chypre means Cyprus in French.

Flowers such as rose, lily of the valley or jasmine make a traditional component of Chypre floral compositions and Chypre Fruity is composed of fruity notes such as peach, apricot, forest strawberry or exotic fruit. Chypre Fruity have a warm and opulent scent.
