Paillette refers to a spangle made of metal or plastic, usually a round disk larger than a sequin. Paillettes are used as trimming on evening clothes or handbags. Moreover, Paillett e is a small shiny disk, larger than a sequin, sewn together with others on fabric to create a fishscale effect.

Author's Note: I have collected round Paillettes of different colors which I used earlier to decorate my crocheted bags and shawls. I also used them to decorate some of my throw pillow covers. I love embellishments especially beads (caviar, bugle, etc), paillettes, Sequins and studs. I also used buttons to embellished my T-shirts.
