Alberto Morillas is an internationally celebrated Master Perfumer who was born in Sevilla, Spain in 1950. Morillas is self-trained in the art of perfumery. He has worked for Firmeni ch since the beginning of his career in 1971 and was named Perfumer in 1977. He earned the prestigious honor and title of Master Perfumer in 1998. His creations are spontaneous and numerous and do not follow any set of given rules. Alberto Morillas has no limits either in the generous ways he uses raw materials or in the amount of time he devotes to his passion.

Living and working in Geneva, Alberto Morillas makes weekly trips to Paris and New York to visit clients which have resulted in successful fragrance collaborations with Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler, Kenzo, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, The Estee Lauder Companies, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels and Lanvin.

Alberto Morillas became a winner of various awards for creating fragrances, such as (1) prestigious Francois Coty Award in 2003; (2) in 2005 the Prix Guerlain; and (3) Flower by Kenzo won a Fifi award in 2002.

He has an extensive and impressive body of works and list of international commercial successes. He is also the creator and owner of a line of scented candles called Mizensir.

The master-perfumer Morillas is largely self-taught. Morillas has an atypical background in arts, as he studied initially at the School of Beaux-Arts of Geneva. He was trained in perfumery at the internal school of Firmenich.

Alberto Morillas who is one of the most famous fragrance creators in the world of international perfumery also created also created Mizensir candles. Being the composer of the most successful and renowned perfumes of the past years, he received the title of "Master in Perfumery". Alberto Morillas was looking for something he could create in a peaceful and intimate way for himself, and he discovered with delight that this new passion was to compose scented candles at his home in Geneva, Switzerland. During his 30 years of experience in the perfume industry Alberto Morillas has memorized hundreds of ideas and flavors in order to create the ideal candle. Mizensir candles are handmade and produced in limited quantities presented only in a few selected stores in Switzerland and France. Desired by the fashion and entertainment industry, Mizensir has become a coveted name in the world of candles.
