Living and working in Geneva, Alberto Morillas makes weekly trips to Paris and New York to visit clients which have resulted in successful fragrance collaborations with Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler, Kenzo, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, The Estee Lauder Companies, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels and Lanvin.
Alberto Morillas became a winner of various awards for creating fragrances, such as (1) prestigious Francois Coty Award in 2003; (2) in 2005 the Prix Guerlain; and (3) Flower by Kenzo won a Fifi award in 2002.
He has an extensive and impressive body of works and list of international commercial successes. He is also the creator and owner of a line of scented candles called Mizensir.
The master-perfumer Morillas is largely self-taught. Morillas has an atypical background in arts, as he studied initially at the School of Beaux-Arts of Geneva. He was trained in perfumery at the internal school of Firmenich.
